Overview
The Center for Instructional Design and Development
(CIDD) is a service unit under the supervision of the Technology Services
director.
CIDD's mission is to assist faculty and staff
in the use of appropriate technology-based tools to enhance their productivity
in the classroom and in the workplace.
The Center is currently staffed
by a full-time coordinator with a background in educational technology,
instructional design, curriculum development and productivity, information,
networking and hypermedia tools. It is located in Ovalwood Hall, room
480.
Service
The Center staff provides consultation, development,
training, and media services to faculty members and staff. The Center
is also available for groups who want to collaborate on a project and
need a space where they can meet and use computers at the same time.
